Guild Crest, Motto and banners

Hello everyone,

Now that we have established our name, good job everyone, its time move forward.   It seems to me the next logical step is to start working on a Guild Crest, Guild Motto and also maybe some banners for the website.   Once these things are in place they should help us as we turn our attention to  recruiting and to relationship building with other guilds.

I am making this post because I know we have a lot of talent in this guild and I want to make sure we utilize it.  Not only because you are talented and creative but also because the more we personally invest into this guild, the more ownership we are going to have of it and the more we are going to get out of it.

So if you are interested in working one or more of the items above please let us know by posting in this thread.  Depending on the level of interest we get for each item will determine how it will be handled. 

My hope is that there will be a lot of interest and we can kind of form teams to handle each item. With the people we have I am excited to see what is presented.

This is our guild,  this is our time and place to create something special.  Lets show the world who we are, lets show them our vision and let everyone know that one way or the other, friend or foe, we will be a force that has to be reckoned with.

If there is any art from Planar Expedition that we are interested in using for guild art, even parts of it, I will gladly donate that.

Hey everyone,

Me, Dirty and Lock were talking this morning and wanted to throw out some ideas we were discussing. We were talking about things to potentially include in the Crest. BTW You can see this conversation at our Discord Channel

Here are some things we came up with:

Symbol for fate- Possibly a golden thread or a coin. Potentially golden thread being forged into a coin. The coin could represent fate as well as commerce.

Symbols for 15 original members- I would like to incorporate 15 of something into the design to represent our 15 founding members. Kind of the way the stars on the US Flag represent the states. We were talking about maybe having a stack of 14 completed coins in the background with a 15th coin being forged.

Symbols for reforged or forge- This could be a hammer and anvil or something of the sort, this part is pretty easy.

So I think we liked the idea of having a Golden Thread being forged (using a hammer and anvil) into a coin, with a stack of 14 coins in the background.

There is lots of opportunity for artist interpretation and customization on this. These were just some of our ideas.

Elaina and Rakenra have posted some images in Discord for anyone who hasn't been over there. They are looking good. Cant wait to see what else these two can come up with. A special thanks to them for their artistic efforts.

Dirty and Xurique yall want to work together on some possible guild mottos? Talk about things such as what language it should be in (English, Latin etc), what it should be and does it represent us?
