Obviously we all love MMOs. But to get to know each other a little more I thought hey, why not start a thread about the other stuff we dig? Obviously for me video games in general. I pretty much free up with a controller in hand and watching my dad play. First game was probably Super Mario Bros. or Duck Hunt. Don't really remember anymore. I usually stick to RPGs bit sometimes I branch out. Favorite games/franchises include Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Dragon Age, Fallout, Stardew Valley, and many others. I also love drawing. I've mostly had art block lately but I'm slowly getting back into it. I use either copic markers or Photoshop cs5. Here (click the word here) is an example for the curious though I kind of stopped caring halfway through it, haha. Oh... and messing with my pets. That counts as a hobby, yeah? I've got two cats and two dogs. Only the cats are personally mine. One has no idea he is a cat. He likes belly rubs like a dog and sits like a person. Fun stuff.

I am the boring type who really doesn't have any hobbies because I don't mind just lazing around when I have free time and no strong interests.
If you count video games in general sure. I keep up to date about the community (just mainly games I am interested) but I don't buy many games usually since I used to have very little spending money and I can't unlearn my buying habits (hypercritical) lol. RPGs, co-op, "hardcore" and strategy are my jam outside of MMORPGs, favorites would be Dragon Age Origins, Divinity Original Sin (Hyped about the second), Mount and Blade Warband (Bannerlord will steal me away from the guild) , Fallout New Vegas (dislike fo4 mainly bec of speech system) and probably many more I can't think of because always sucked with favorite lists.
Pets count? That's first, always had a cat in the family, got the current one from a family that runs makeshift cat shelter.

Lets see, what do I like doing... is everything a fair answer? I have a fairly successful youtube channel picking locks, but I do not make vids much anymore. www.youtube.com/user/LocksmithArmyI love programming. I make small games or software you can play with on: lsadevelopment.com/I ride motorcycles, mostly sport bikes (I have a 60th anniversary r6 and a couple CBR F4s) I kayak. Flat water and whitewater. I love working with my hands, making things modding things. I build high powered handheld lasers. my 3D printer takes up as much time as I can afford. Then there are the video games I am a huge RPG fan. My top 3 are; 'Skies of Arcadia', 'Tales of Symphonia' and 'Golden Sun'. Zelda is my favorite series, I even have Zelda tattoos. grew up on a farm where we had a cat rescue... 30+ cats... only have 3 now but they still count as a hobby... and snuggle buddies.

Well I am a dad first and foremost, and spend time with my daughters when I can. We game together quiet a bit. We also cook together, take care of our fish and dog and amazingly enough we had fun making a flower bed together around our Koi pond. I love all types of games, building games (Cities Skylines, Civilization), RPGS (Pillars of Eternity), Sports games (Madden), Simulations games (all of them) and MMOs too many to list. I also like reading and movies. My biggest passion outside of gaming and my family is Tennessee Football, our family has been season ticket holders for over 40 years. I literally live in E. Tennessee because of the Univ. of Tennessee. I went to the Army to pay for my schooling at UT. I live and breath it. lol Thats a bit about me, I am a pretty laid back and sometimes lazy person. I enjoy my alone time and I love my gaming time.

Let me just by saying a little about myself. I started gaming in the late 90s when game consoles were becoming a little more relevant for people. I played consoles from the Super Nintendo (probably the SNES too lol) till what we have now. I didn't own a console till my next door neighbor gave him his PS1 because he just bought a PS2. That PS1 lasted me a couple or years till the PS2 dropped price and my parents got me one. I, like someone else said, had very little spending money growing up so I made due with what I had and what I could afford at the time. So trust me I was very skeptical about putting down $1k for 2 accounts lol (1 for me and 1 for gf 😁) also main reason why I didn't get a $1k account for myself.
Oh and the gf, we both met on an online game back in 2008. Since that moment we been together and now we are together in IRL. Awesome right? Well my first MMORPG was back in 07 (I guess when a lot of games went mainstream at that moment) this game was called Fiesta Online (where I met gf lol). This game featured anime style looks and a good old school style control and because of this combination the game became huge for a good 4-5 years. I have played multiple games along those years and even now. Looking for a game to call home, till I heard about this Kickstarter.
For hobbies, I would say I'm a big computer (and hardware) enthusiast but can't afford the top tier hardware I want for it 😂. But I made due with what I can get and have, which is not a problem for me! I'm big on sports, baseball (mainly) and football. I'm from the Dominican Republic and my dad used to be a pitcher there, so baseball runs through our blood 😂. I used to go to the gym on a daily base, early for a good hour or so. But had to stop because I was going to school at that time, but now I'm trying to get my lazy self back in gear lol. I'll try a lot of different game and such, but the game has to have something that is in my style for it to keep me there.
Well IRL I work in a restaurant as a bartender (and partially manager in training). So my schedule isn't the easiest to deal with, but I manage through. Let's say we are going to have a raid party on a Friday night, I would need to know at least a good week or 2 in advance because the weekends are the best days to make money and I'm always scheduled on those days lol.
Well those the biggest things I would say impact or at least impacted my life style and life for over 10+ years. I hope everyone finds this a little interesting 😁 cause I sure do with everyone's back story and such. I say let's keep doing this type of thing! Sooner or later we will become a gaming family and do more than just this.

Hola,
I started gaming in 1991-1992. I was only 4-5 then but the daycare I went to had a regular Nintendo and Super Mario. That's one of my earliest memories, I remember the slightly older kids wouldn't let me play it so I would just watch them. It wasn't long before I got my turn and then my own NES shortly after. I have pretty much owned every system since at one point or another.
Needless to say, Video Games are one of my top hobbies. I have played pretty much any genre you can think of from FPS to racing to my favorite which is RPG's. Some of my favorite franchises are (Final Fantasy, Dark Souls, Fallout/Elder Scrolls, Ninja Gaiden, God of War, Mega-Man, Pokemon) and I will stop there because I could list dozens more.
Another hobby is Anime. I have watched tons and tons of it over the years. It started with Yu Yu Hakusho, FLCL, Inuyasha, and DBZ on Adult Swim when I was about 12. I still watch it to this day. I live in Atlanta and also attend conventions occasionally like Anime Weekend Atlanta, Momocon, Dragoncon. The Marvel/DC universe I am a big fan of as well, I used to read several of the comics when I was a kid and while I don't really do comics anymore I still enjoy all the movies that are coming out these days.
I have hopped around on several hobbies in the card world over time. Pokemon collecting was the beginning, after that, I discovered MTG (Magic the Gathering) when I was young and have played that on and off over the years. I started around Revised Edition if anyone knows what MTG is. I played in tournaments a lot and would consistently win in local and regional tournaments near Asheville NC. I never tried to go pro despite many people I played with pushing me to try. Currently Its been a little over a year since I last played MTG. I also enjoy board games, anything from the classics like Monopoly to Munchkin or Cards Against Humanity. The bigger the group the better. I am very competitive and like to follow the rules. My pet peeve is people who quit games half way through because they are losing XD. I have several Sleight of Hand skills with a deck of cards and can do a bunch of card tricks.
I like to read a lot. Mostly fantasy or sci-fi, Example: Game of Thrones. Although I love History so you will find me reading about many things having to do with US and World history, especially online articles and the occasional documentary. I am good with any type of instructions so constructing things comes naturally to me. I build gaming PC's for fun and have worked in a computer repair shop before (if anyone has any problems I would be glad to attempt a diagnosis).
I used to work as a chef for years. I originally did an internship with a 5-star chef. I have worked in nursing homes, delis, fine dining restaurants, fast food, and an all girls camp for several summers. I cooked for all of my roommates in college and usually, people tell me I make them fat hehe. I currently work in a specialty pharmacy and my job title is Pharmacy Coordinator.
I collect playing cards and high powered lasers. I also have an old baseball card collection from when I was a kid as well as my old Pokemon and MTG cards.
Its been a while but when I can get a group together I like to play Disc-Golf, Basketball, Pool, or Soccer. I have also played Baseball, Soccer, Basketball and Dodgeball on teams in the past. Lots of water activities are fun as well. I love boats and anything to do with them. Growing up in the mountains of NC I did plenty of Fishing, Camping, Kayaking, Tubing, and Swimming. I have 4 dogs and a yard snake named Mr. Snuggles as far as pets go. My fiance is allergic to cats or we would probably have one of them as well. Been in the process of talking her into letting me have a bird for a few years now. I think I am getting close which is awesome because I really want a bird, which I will name Chocobo.
I can be a joker sometimes so if I make any bad jokes just ignore me lol. I'm going to end my novel now, I hope I didn't bore anyone who read the entire thing! haha

Well I don't really game much anymore but I hope that this game changes that. As far as things that I like doing in my free time, I am really into watching terrible tv show, stand up comedy and live shows, EDM festivals (I'm a bro), weightlifting, tattoos, traveling (just got back from a 12 country trip), and generally partying way too much! that about it, I'm very basic.

Well, I love to game, watch anime and random shows on tv, and get out of the house. I like to go to anime/comic conventions when they come close. I'm also into R/Cs, but I have not become brave enough to get some of the high-end helicopters that you can do stunts with, such as flying upside down, etc. I am about to get married next month, so preparation for that is taking up quite a bit of time.
